Gryphon Place has hosted an Annual Bowl-A-Thon for several years. This event is both a friend raiser and fund raiser. Because it is scheduled near Halloween, many participants dress in costumes adding to the festivities. Participants have fun, win prizes and go home knowing they are helping to support the community through the programs of Gryphon Place. Bowling skills are not necessary. We gather to have fun!! |

| Here are several ways you can help make the annual Bowl-A-Thon a success!
1. Become a Sponsor |
- There are many levels of sponsorship to fit every budget. Give us a call at 269-381-1510.

2. Become a Team Captain |
- Team Captains find four other people and register them to become an official team! Team Captains receive information from us including an info sheets to give to team members. Each team member is asked to solicit a minimum of $75 in pledges from friends, family members, neighbors, etc. That means that every team raises a minimum of $ 375 (5 x $ 75). You can create a web page that will help with the soliciting of pledges. See below for details.

3. Become a Participant |
- If you can’t recruit a team but wish to take part, let us know! We will place you on a team! You will be asked to solicit pledges.

4. Become a Phantom Bowler |
- A phantom bowler is someone who wants to take part but is unable to attend the event. Phantoms solicit pledges and are eligible for prizes if at least $75 is turned in by the day of the event.
A phantom raises money for the event by soliciting pledges. *

5. Become a Prize Contributor |
- If you can donate a major prize (valued over $150) or a random door prize, let us know!

6. Participate as an Event Planner |
- There are many opportunities to help plan the event. Perhaps you can solicit local businesses for prizes: Perhaps, you can talk to groups about forming teams. If you can help in any capacity, let us know!

Once you register you can customize your own Bowl-A-Thon Participant Page by following the simple instructions provided. When completed, send this page to everyone in your address book and see what happens! You will be credited for all $ received through your efforts and the $ will come directly to Gryphon Place, making it very easy for you. You’ll be able to watch your own pledge account grow, too. It’s fun, fast, convenient and safe for both you and Gryphon Place!
